Artis Naples Student Exhibit : Due to COVID, this year’s event is much smaller, but will enable some of our outstanding student artists to get some local exposure in the Naples community. Our school was able to submit 8 total pieces of art for display for ES-HS. The Student Exhibit opening is this Sat. May 1, at the Baker Museum, Artis Naples. Student artwork will be on display May 18-June 21, 2021.
New this year ... The “Above and Beyond” Award . This Fine Arts award recognizes students who go the extra mile, often reaching beyond the walls of the academy, to use their gifts to serve others.
Drama Notes: Bravo FBA students! Our 3rd through 6th grade students did an amazing job singing and performing their rendition of “WhoDunnit?”. Detectives Evan Herrenbruck and Sofia Rice assisted by the FBA Commons Cast, helped solve the mysterious disappearance of the cookie missing from Chef Herb’s cookie jar. The evening drama performances of Murder on the 518 played to a sellout audience. Drama with Dessert was served in the Worship Center, staged to replicate a train Dining Car. Each of the unique characters onboard the 518 added to the drama and the fun as they worked together to determine whodunnit and why. Many thanks to the parent volunteers who gave their time & talents to assist with the show. The FBA Orchestra provided live music & sound effects for the performances.
